I have been playing football since I was 8 years old and won my first medal when I was 9. I grew up playing as a striker as I was fast and very big for my age! I broke a number of the clubs scoring records and was scouted to train with Millwall. I suffered from a number of injuries as I got older and stopped playing football when my son started to play.

He has been playing football since he was 6, I had the intention of just watching and not being one of the 'shouty' dads on the side line! On our first visit there I was asked to help coach a session due to my background, the second session I was then asked to run a team and by the third session I was asked to cover the whole age group!

I have been coaching ever since and really enjoy it. I have taken my FA level 1 and will be taking my level 2 this year. I enjoy coaching kids as they are keen to learn and want to have fun, which is most important!
