Description
Have the first baseman stand at first base with the coach at home plate.
Roll a baseball out in front of home plate down the first base line.
The first baseman fields the baseball throwing to another player acting as the third baseman.
Tips
Start with the first baseman playing off of the base just concentrating on the approach to the baseball; then incorporate moving off of the bag to a fielding position.
Have the first baseman approach the baseball close to the baseline, this will allow for an easier throw to third base.
